I just placed an order today for the FabTech 6" lift and HD steering kit. Earlier today I placed an order for new wheels (Mickey Thompson Classic Lock's 18x10 with 4.5" backspacing) and tires (Mickey Thompson M/T Baja ATZ 37x13.50x18).

I was pretty sure that the tires/wheels would give me the setup that I was looking for - wide stance, beefy, fill the fender wells. Now after looking at some pictures of forum member's H2's with the 6" lift and 38" or 20" tires, I am really concerned that the wheels/tires will look too small.

For you guys that have the lift's should I:

A) Call in the morning and change the order replacing with M/T Baja ATZ 38x15.50x18's. The wheels would stay the same.

B) Call in the morning and change the order replacing with M/T Baja ATZ 40x13.50x18's. The wheels would stay the same.

C) Call in the morning and change the order replacing with M/T Baja ATZ 38x15.50x20's. The wheels on order would be replaced with 20x10 with 4.5" backspacing.

D) Call in the morning and change the order replacing with M/T Baja ATZ 40x13.50x20's. The wheels on order would be replaced with 20x10 with 4.5" backspacing.

E) Don't worry about it. Overall look would not significantly change doing A, B, C, or D.

I need to make the call as soon as possible, so any advice would be appreciated. Hate to bother you guys on such short notice, but I haven't made a mod this big since my supercharger and just want it to be the best one.

37" tires look to small IMO with a 6" lift and 18" rims look to small in 40" tires so i would go with anwser D

In my opinion I would keep what you ordered. 37" tires looks great with the FabTech Lift. If you want to upgrade to 20" rims, I would still stay with the 37" tires. Two of my friend have their H2 with the Fabtech Lift, one went with 37" tires and one went with 40" tires. The 40" tires required torsion keys to add 2" to the lift, so the tires would not hit. Also the 38" or 40" tires are 15.5" wide, too wide in my opinion.

Here is a picture of both. The White H2 has the 37x13.5x20 tires.

This H2 has the 40x15.5x20. This is obviously a show truck.

I think the 37s with a 6" lift look fine.
