Howdy Hummer Folk!
I've browsed the forum for a while, and found some topics quite interesting.
1. General dislike for Subarus. I own one, an 05 Baja.
2. General dislike for tree huggers. I am one and a Sierra Club member.
3. General dislike for mall queens. I am such a mall queen, I can't believe it.
Given I'm clearly a minority here, I decided to join anyway. Got myself a yeller 05. It has only 600 miles on it, all spent @ the mall. Anyhoo, it's pretty much stock right now.
Peace

1. I like Subarus OK, they are well designed vehicles, far better than Yugos. I often carry a Subie or two in my H2's luggage rack to fill in crevices when off roading.
2. I have little patience for unreasonable one dimensional zealots of any ilk. Many "Tree Huggers" do indeed fit this profile.
3. While the H2 is capable of Mall Duty, the Subie is far better suited to this task.
4. Welcome...

MUH_HUM,
Welcome, glad you joined in. Now my thoughts on your comments.
1. If you like it, that's all that matters
2. Good for you as long as you don't start trashing Hummers verbally or physically. I believe most people here do actually care about the environment, just can't stand the over zealous tree hugger types.
3. At least you are going to the mall in style
Just my opinion

I was about to start ripping into you... then you made me laugh. Welcome to the forum.
BTW, you should have bought a yellow HUMMER, not Subaru. (That's a joke for those of you that don't get it. And yes, I did bring up a color. )

Reply:
1. Nothing wrong with a Subaru. It is a great value and very capable off road, within it's design parameters. Do you take it off road?
2. I don't mind tree huggers; I have had a strong environmental bent and passion for the outdoors all my life. On the other hand, I find Sierra Clubbers as hypocritical as they come. I have seen them take huge groups of a-holes (who felt they didn't need to stay on trail) out into preserved wilderness, destroying as much terrain as anyone I have ever seen.
3. As far as the mall queen thing goes, one of two things will happen. Either you’ll get over it and start off-roading, or you’ll become accepted here, despite your urbane sexual preference.
Is there particular significance to your palindromic pseudonym?
Welcome.

Ironically, I'll drive ANYTHING off road. So maybe I'm not such a mall queen after all. A queen, perhaps, but not one who resides @ the mall.

Nope, just used all my creative juices (ewww!) to come up with that one.

Welcome aboard. My guess is you'll stir things up a bit -- -- which is good for everyone.

Welcome hum-muh - 1) I like subaru's also, my mother has a Forester and loves it.
2) Sorry , but my whole family is in the wood harvesting / land developing business. But if you'd like I have some "WOOD" right here you can hug.
3)Having a H2 to use for mall shopping isnt bad as long as once in while you jump some curbs and drive over some medians , so the H2 will feel at home.
Welcome.

Welcome
Most have already covered the different points. i would like to hope You will get involved in a Hummer Club locally and see in person how good the Hummer people are, well for the most part. But, seriously off-roaders of which I am not one yet but, will be, are very enviromentally aware and care. I heard stories of MOAB trip where the group I missed getting to go with picked up junk while in the desert. Myself I had been a farmer most of My life and there is not a bigger enviromental conservationist on earth than that group. Most do not know or care but, just pointing where My ideals come from on nature.
Glad to have You aboard You will find allot of help here.
Please get to know real Hummer owners and off roaders and go to tree hugger meetings and get them to understand We have no desire to destroy the earth. I mean really Our kids and their kids have to live on it after we are gone.
Oh I almost forgot I drive a Mall Queen and take it to shows or was but, right now in shop getting major upgrades and possibly paint. Have been working on it for almost 2 weeks and am going nuts not driving it a little. So I'm putting it together and drive it a week and put it back in for 1 or 2 more weeks to continue work. Everything is planned in stages so that when We chrome, powder coat, or paint We complete everything in that area. I want to off road so that means a 2nd H2 in the future for a daily driver, mud and rocks.

Seriously DRTY, where do you get these photos? I mean the purple peter pan shot, then this?
Later in the thread feel free to call me a troll.
Then finally, pull out all the stops and call me a fag or a tea bagger or whatever.

You must have me confused with someone else.
Besides, I'd just call you a catcher or a pillow-biter or poop dick-licker.
