Need help fast, I am trying to buy an H3 and was checking with my insurance company regarding how much my rate would be for an H3. The qoute came back twice as much as my current vehicle, a dodge ram 1500 quad cab. my question is for current owners, did you see you a rate increase this drastic? thx

humtab,
There is another thread about this and as I recall, it is a mistake. When doing the quote they tend to select it as an H2 instead. Most went up just slightly but a few actually have the rate go down. If you can't straighten them out, go to another company. They are all screwing us anyway

I went from a Pathfinder full coverage to the H3 with the same coverage and my premium went up $18 per month.

My insurance, full coverate on a loaded lux is 90 per month, multi car policy with homeowners package. Thats in Scottsdale Az. American Fam insurance didnt have a rating so they assigned cost based on cost of new vehicle.

I had a 03 Toyota 4runner, and after trading it in and buying the H3, my rate went up $84.00 a year... A.A.A. I was pleasantly surprised...

I commented on this in another thread, but I upped my coverage to $100k, $300k, $100k and am still in the low $60's for my H3. It went down considerably from my last car.
Allstate.

Just got quote from State-Farm:
Full coverage on an H3 is $75/month, that's with a $500 deductible on collision.
