So, many of you know that I have tried to get Four Wheeler Magazine to post a "Reader's Ride" pic for some time now.

Well, they did finally print something:

"Your What Hits, What Fits guide has been bothering me. When you last published this article, I chuckled because I knew full well that my '03 H2 has had 37-inch BFG tires on it, with no lift, almost all it's life. It has managed trails including Holy Cross in Colorado to Hell's Revenge and Poison Spider in Moab. I now have MTs instead of the ATs, but I removed the the stock tires for 37-inchers some time ago. I have now also added Rock Crawler Series 97 wheels and Rancho 9000 shocks, and I assure you, with better shocks anf offset wheels, nothing hits. Just a little FYI.

I thought that was you! Good job on the dissin'. They need a reality check sometimes.

They did a good job on the Alpha write up too, at least it was objective and not a "We'd rather have 4 Rubicons" hack job.

I hate that name "Rubicon". It's a freekin CJ. I guess you need to change the name with a heavy price tag. That Jeep isn't worth any more than 16,000 maybe 18,000 no more.

Anyway I degrees, I'm glad to hear that the Alpha got a good write up.

Degrees??? You mean digress.

My buddy just bought a new Rubicon with front and rear lockers & 31" MTRs. We went wheeling together and while it's not spectacular, it's no slouch either. I do enjoy teasing him about it being a great rig for a chick.

Good job Adam, I thought you'd never get through to those bone-heads...Didn't they at one point cut you out of the poicture you sent in and post your brother in-law's Disco or something along those lines?

It wasn't quite that offensive. My brother in law and I were out playing in the mud. I in my Hummer and he in his Disco. After a while some really BUILT trucks came along, I snapped some pics, and one of the drivers asked me to e-mail them to him. I did, and they ended up in the magazine for the TTC issue. It turns out that the Disco was in the background. Figures.
