Is it just me or have you guys been getting hate comments about your H3 because 1.) its a Hummer and 2.) it's made by GM?
I was reading up in the Toyota forums and these guys have NOTHING good to say about the H3 and I know for a fact that not a single person there has driven one.

It really angers me to see people make such ignorant comments.

S2K,
Makes me mad too. I have determined that for most of them, it must come from jealousy. They don't have one or may not be able to get one but really want to so it must be a POS. All the H2 bashing that goes around seems to be from people that just can't afford one. Those that drive vehicles that cost as much or more generally don't have anything bad to say about it. Those that are not jealous of Hummers but bash them are more than likely threatened by it. A lot of the jeep owners that come over here to bash the Hummers or over on the Jeep forums have never seen a Hummer off road but they just assume it is bad off road because they think nothing could possible compare to their Jeeps. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not talking about all Jeep owners. There are many here who are good members and many Hummer owners are either current or former Jeep owners. It just comes down to jealousy and over zealous brand loyalty. I just think that if a vehicle is good, it is good. Doesn't matter if it is my brand or not.

They're idiots. The usual lemmings reguritatating the usual useless crap.
Pay them no mind, they have no lives and are reduced to bolstering their weak lives by trying to sound profound by critiquing a vehicle (of which I'm sure they've never even driven).

I think sheaple have an attitude that if it is a Hummer then it must be bad so let's hate that too. I really love it most when people say thet Hummers arn't good off road when most have not even seen one off road.

I have no problem with calling it a "Cherokee on Steroids" because that means its better than a Cherokee right

They can talk all they want, but there's not a Lexus made that can go through the creek and up the hill on the trail to my house after a good rain, without a lift kit and mudder tires, but my H3 does it in base form without breaking a sweat and I don't even have to use low range all the time to do it. The more I drive it the more I love my H3 and could care less what non owners say.

I would say it is the same as a Chevy versus a Ford versus a Dodge pickup; but it is more like Mustang versus Corvette.
I'm currently a Jeep owner, soon to be an H3 owner, and there is really no comparison between the two.
I also own a Vette and this type of subject often comes up on the Corvette Forum but between Mustang versus Corvette; even though they are both completely different animals.
Just ignore the statements against a Hummer and consider the source.

I think DC screwed up killing the XJ, and the H3 to me is what the Cherokee should have been. Hummer just picked up the ball where DC dropped it.
