It had to be diffucult (psychologically) to intentionally disassemble your H3.

Did you clean all that black rock mud? Did you hear about Eric (I think that’s his name) with the H1... after the black rock run, his H1 rusted all underneath, and he's still replacing lots of parts from it?
I heard that stuff was really thick and stuck to the rig?!

Yes, I got as much as I could find, and yes, my under carriage had some rust. Nothing big.
The mud in the Quinn river was highly sulphuric and corrosive. I still have stains on my window rubbers, the mud left it white.
But I will have to keep an eye on it.
Grrrr. I waited to long to wash it. From now on, wheelin on Saturday, wash truck on Sunday.  |

thanks for the pics, this is something i was considering as well, as i have totally scratched up my fenders and mine is black too... can you post up some recent pic to see how its holding up? how much does it cost anyways? i just want the fenders done... i wonder how that would look without doin the bumper?

Looks exactly the same as when I put it together 2 1/2 months ago. I will post some pics soon though. I cranked the torsion bars too! She looks very Grrrr.
As far as supporting the fenders, line-x is very light weight, and thin. No support needed. |
