Hood Handles from H2 on H3
Anyone have details on installing H2 type hood handles on the H3?
Thinking of how to do the cut ins/drilling to the plastic part, without penetrating the metal elements.

Re: Hood Handles from H2 on H3
I did another H2 set on my H3 and have no gap. I used the factory bolts and nuts. Just had to dremel off the extending screw threads. Pull it in taught and no gap anymore. My fist attempt was good but the gap was not. This works flawless and looks great. HOWEVER the Chrome H2 handles will crack your panel. I know this from experience so DO NOT try and get them flush. (THEY DONT FLEX AT ALL).
Good Luck

BB,
Thanks for that. Your initial study is the basis for this project...
On this latest you did. It looks great by the way. Are you saying that you mounted the handles on the plastic part and then ground them off B4 placing on the metal hood?
How did that allow you to flex out the gap? Pressure applied? Did you use any adhesive or silicone this time?
Thx,
W

Re: Hood Handles from H2 on H3
I get Hood Handles for H2.
But it is only a plating cover.
It processed it I sharpened the plating cover in a grinder, and not to have gaps on a hood panel.
I join a hood panel and Hood Handles with a board of the aluminum.
