Re: While Away
Thank you sir for your words of wisdom... I only hope the control freak can hear you. And for the record I am not a nurse so shoving pastries down my throat is not even in question. I am actually a fighter of this war not a remf. I refuse to feel sorry for myself unlike MR. cry baby. What is more, I dont abuse nor berate my wife. Stop acting like you are 10 years old again. Family advocacy is no fun.

Stop feeling so sorry for yourself, and blaming your wife and everyone else including this place for your situation. You are embarrassing yourself and the US Air Force Nurse Corps, and the US Military in general. You are a Commissioned Officer for crying out loud, start acting like it.
Are all the people that have wished you "good Luck" here.....the same ones you were referring to above?
If you can't see that you are making a gigantic fool out of yourself, and displaying your insecurity and lack of confidence for all to see........then you're weaker mentally than I even thought you were.
There are many over there that have it worse than you.......being in the medical field yourself......you shouldn't have to look to hard to find them. Kill the pity party you're holding for yourself and get to work helping those hurt kids that work the forward areas.
Quit bitchin about your life back here, and go do what you were sent to do over there!

Also, just in the last few, I have scanned the site, only to find out through here about a bear. You'd think that this would make for atleast a mention during conversation, rather than the fact that "I visited my grandparents church today". Although it is said that the other one misses the other, I am now finding that maybe I am wrong for even trying so hard to even contact home (i.e. waiting hours to make a 10-15 phone call) I guess it is def true....absence makes the heart grow fonder for some, while out of site out of mind for the most. I guess I need to adopt the latter of the 2. Being that she does seem to check this site more than her email, I hope she reads this and realizes that I am about through going that extra step just to contact her. At this point contacting other family members is more important. I will def make some changes in my family, once I return home.

I use to put paperback novels in my pants before my dad belted me. It works sometimes. Jamie sounds like a monster.
