Seems pretty straight forward and since it doesn't have to integrate with the stock stereo I don't see any issues. But what about the bumper mount and rear view mirror? Have the rear bumpers or rear view mirrors changed since 2004?

I don't think it should be a problem I have an pioneer avic z2 in my 07 and was told that the rear camera won't have nothing to do with it (had a back up camera that came on on the Nav.) till I found the rear camera the only thing I was worrie bout was the bumper

However, any good shop should have the tools to cut through the metal. After reading how the factory nav screen works, it's pretty cool as it automatically comes out and retracts when in and out of reverse. Seems to me that the only wiring consideration other than power is to the reverse wire.
Has anyone done this yet?
