The reality show The Amazing Race is coming on CBS right now and the preview just showed them doing some mud trails in jeeps and implied that some of them got stuck. Who cares? Don't answer that.

It was, the tires on the jeeps weren't even mudders, it was pathetic. Plus the people had never done a mud bog before and got no instructions, so they didn't have much chance to make it across and back anyway. One team tried 4 times before they succeeded, another gave up after 3 tries and 2 other teams were able to complete it on their first try.

I did read somewhere that they will eventually be leaving the US. I would feel ripped off if on the race and never went across the ocean.
Although I love this show I'm not too thrilled with the family edition...If I wanted to watch a bunch of family members arguing on vacation I'd watch my own vacation tapes.

Did some surfing and there are reports of them going to Central America as well. Still sorta lame...
Personally, I'm rooting for the family with the little kids, the Gaghan's I think. I hope they do well but I don't think the kids have the emotional stamina.

I saw the commercials for it and thought I would love to have a screen shot of it for the Jeep trolls

Damn! That's better than winning the race isn't it?

Really? The entire race is in the USA this time? I figured eventually they would go to another country. That does kinda suck.

WOW! Thats one prize I could deal with winning!
Slightly OT here, but does anybody think that having the entire race here in the US is sort of boring? I really enjoyed seeing the other parts of the world they travel to.
