tis sUnDaY
Good morning/afternoon
Whelp, I slept in a little and just made myself a cup of coffee and I am getting ready to paint my toes. Debating going with my standard sandlewood pink or painting them black to freak out the mother-in-law later today.
I have some picking up, breakfast making, cleaning and laundry to do. Then we are taking Big Nasty to the Eastern Shore for lunch. Should be a pretty drive.
What is everybody up to?

Drinking coffee, on the Hummer forum typing, getting ready to install some security cameras, so I can spy on the neighbors.
Wondering what is wrong with my dog, she has suddenly started to limp from her back left leg. No obvious signs of trauma. Guess tomorrow will be a trip to the Vets.

Re: tis sUnDaY
Cleaning the house and washing school uniforms for next week. Trying to get back in the swing of things with school and all. I heart the school uniform. Man its easy, our 5 1/2 yr old always wants to wear something sassy. She is 5 1/2 going on 21. Its very scary. So the uniform is great for us. Paragon and I are going out of town next weekend without the kids so I'll have a busy week making sure my mom has everything she will need for the kids.
We will watch the race today and see if Jr. and Flipper guy "Carl Edwards" get in a fight today. Just a day full of fun.

Nothing exciting this Sunday. Tennis in the morning. And the afternoon was spent clearing out the kitchen. Contractor comes Monday to start kitchen upgrade. 78 degrees and sunny made for a pleasant day.

Re: tis sUnDaY
Got to sleep in this morning. Then got my veggie garden ready...planted bell peppers, 2 tomato varieties, pumpkins, bush beans, and corn. I'm planting by moon phases this year, I'll see if things grow better or not.
Got done around noon, it was already 97F outside. Yuck. Summer brings the suck this year. Must be all those freakin H2s out there causing global warming.
Kid is being a freak again. He's obsessed with the black train conductor from one of his Little People playsets. He walks around with it for hours, the head completely shoved in his mouth. A stream of drool follows the kid around. I don't get it.
Gonna kill the rest of the afternoon watching the race and shopping online with a glass of iced tea and the A/C on. Gotta love it. Then get dinner started....honey glazed cornish hens with apple rice pilaf. Yum.

Hey!
Does she seem to be feeling any better? Did you check her paw for anything she might have stepped on?

I checked everything. Nothing feels swollen, pads look good, I even checked out her paws with my photo Loupe and saw nothing.
She is still a puppy, and loves to chase her tail, but when she does, she has a tendency to bang into tables, chairs, etc., so I have to tell her to stop. However, I'm thinking that is what happened, she banged into something; hopefully, just bruising herself. Tomorrow she has a trip to the Vets.
She seems to be able to put weight on it without crying, she is just favoring it and limping.
