Anyone have access to these? My vehicle goes in for some custom paint and I need the flares to be painted also. Anyone that I have talked to that sells them says 10 days - 2 weeks before I can get them. I'll even take a used set, if there in good condition. Or... another brand, if there wide enough. Thanks

Ken, these actually install over the stock flares. These are agout 3 1/2" out from the body. As far as removing the "mud flap", it is part of the flare. I think it looks pretty good.

Mister Ed, Oldhiker, about how far out from stock are they? And do you have to use that mud flap? I am not a fan of them, but really like the flares.

EXCELLENT RIG, MisterEd. Just ditch the mirror caps, door handles and rear tail gate piece and you'll be perfect.

They have those as part of a dealer promotion package out here in this part of the world... Who makes them? I'm looking closely at the H2 SUT which isn't released here for a while, and would like wider tires than OEM.
What's the widest flares currently in production for the H2?

I will wait until I see them in person before making a decision. Thanks for the extra pic.

That's a smart looking rig you've got there!
Are they the widest H2 flares you can currently get though? 4.5" is ok, wider would be better. I'd like to do something like 38x20 STS tires (rims unknown yet) and it would be a whole lot easier to keep it street legal by getting fenders wide enough to cover them.
I'm surprised with how many huge H2's there are that nobody has done this already. They do look nice that's for sure, and I like how your skidplate etc. is all blacked out. Looks sharp.

What part of "E&G Extra Wide Fender Flares" didn't you get??? I suppose I could have found a picture, but if someone knows what I am talking about, they won't need the photo. With over 4500 posts under your belt, one would think you might have this thing mastered. ?? Some GURU......

Many thanks!!
I'm not aware of wider but in this day, somebody is always trying to make it bigger!
Flares are wide enough that rarely do my 37's throw mud on the sides...just when really boggin' it!
Skidplate has been LineX coated.... works well and you don't have to worry about dings!

Cool - I'm not worried about body scratches, when it gets scratched enough, it's time for a new colour
I'm more worried about having some WIDE tires to make it perform well in the sand, and keeping it street legal. Might have to do some one-off flares kinda like the Icelandic trucks have...

C'mon cheesehead, use that... cheese you've got for a brain and either post a picture or do a search for your "E&G Extra Wide Fender Flares". Also, by posting a photo maybe you'd be providing a useful service by showing the forum members something that they might want/need. Don't come on this forum and expect to be waited on hand & foot. Be self sufficient.
Now go wash the sand out of your crack and calm down.
BTW, it's almost football season again and time for the Packers to choke the chicken.

Appreciate YOUR kind words!
Handles are in the works but haven't been able to find the caps yet. Any thoughts on that tail gate piece??
