What 4wd modes are the best in the following
1) mud
2) rock crawling
3) sand
4) water
5) snow

I mean in the sense of say 4low locked or using 4 hi locked? or using the tc2 mode?

Based on the limited experience I've had I'm not sure there's a precise answer to your question. One driver's 4-lo/diff-lock experience is a 4-hi unlock cakewalk for another.
Read and experiment is just about all you can do. Maybe other more experienced drivers can provide better guidance.
