Hi all,
Just purchased an 06 SUT. I have a few quality issues i'm dealing with (Tonneau cover didn't fit securely and had to be replaced after 3 attempts at adjusting, and sunroof visor buzzez like a nest of angry killer bee's at 70 mph+).
I purchased a chrome fuel door on ebay and it's loose on the hinges and the locking mechanism is junk. I was looking at the Moss catalog and they have an SUT logo'd fuel door that looks good. Does anyone have one and if so is it good quality?
Your input is much appreciate...and a pre-emptive thanks to many of you, the feedback provided on this board is significantly responsible for my purchase....but I do miss my Ford Lightning

Hey man - welcome to the board.
I also have a locking fuel door from the dealer and it's solid.
Also wanted to refer you to this earlier thread:

Welcome again...

Hey dude, Welcome to the board and...chill out - that thread was just a recent one where people just took a few shots.
I wasn't trying to imply all Ford's suck, just detailing the issues I had.
I've also had a few issue w/my H2, but they were mostly annoying little things...
Welcome...

Fuel door: The fit is not GM's problem. You bought it on Ebay. The barrel locking, chrome, SMA door we bought from the dealer is very solid.
The Tonneau cover issue sucks. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Never had an issue with the visor. Is it tight?
Good luck. You now have a real truck. Now get over that POS Ford and be happy.

I may be a newbie but not a pansy...spank away but make sure you can take the backlash..
The Ford was a rocket and the only competition GM could give me was the latter Z06 Vettes..Yes Fords have problems...all vehicles do and we can debate all day about our preferances, but I have an H2 now.
The fuel door I got was from Gear Jammin Accessories..the door was loose on the hinges and the locking mechanism was junk.
I ordered a new one from Moss (they seem to be reputable) and i'll let you know if the quality is any better.
PS...That video is hilarious, I shared it with some of my former Lightning brothers..the ones who still talk to me,

Geez! Relax!
We`re just bustin your chops.
Don`t swim against the current, swim with it or you`ll tire out and drown.
EVERY vehicle has problems.
But Fords are pieces of sh1t.

Hey, Baddkharma, did you by any chance buy that locking gas door from Autoaccessory4u on ebay? I was thinking of buying one from them, but now I have second thoughts. I hear Moss has a good reputation, though.
