Three H1's, 4 H2's, two Heeps, and 2 Range Rovers. The Old Dutch Cleanser Mine, Burro Schmidt's Tunnel, and one serious trail on the way home. What fun! Some pics....
Out in the desert, Jon's H1 leading the pack.

Here's a Jeep trying it...he backed down. Bad cell-phone pic, sorry!
Wanted to make sure to say that this is NOT one of the Jeeps on the desert trip - this was the next day closer to home.

Sean w/ view..
The pics of the rock bed do not really show the difficulty of it. We had almost two roll-overs, myself being one of them. Atleast it would have happened in Sean's rig, not mine!! (Thanks Sean for the confidence!!) I'll be a bit more careful when I pick up my new one!

Looks like there is another run this Sunday Nov 13th to Calcite Mine & Truckhaven near Anza Borrego Desert State Park (San Diego Co.). The run is organized by the psychosquad -- go to their new forum through the SoCalForum link. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Lemme look into that one. Are you going?

But the H2 did!!!!!
Thanks again to Jon for the line and the brake tips. He can pilot that H1 of his!!! This pic gives a better idea of how steep the first part of the hill really is - and it is VERY loose, sandy soil.

Very fun. We are trying to organize another run on Dec. 10th in another location with much of the same group - wanna come along?
