Ok, due to divorce I traded in my H2 for a F-150. I went to the bank and got a draft for it. Th truck is a basic F-150 but went to a place called BC Motorsports, got 22" Rims, aftermarket hood, dual exhaust, after market tail lamps, dvd player inside. They are all factory installed and covered on the factory warranty.
The Problem: I have had this thing about a month now, My credit union will not finance the full amount, because when it is all said and done the truck is only worth 34,500, I was paying 42. (Yes bad idea.) But now my credit union will not honor the draft, which in turn makes my original contract null and voind, so I understand......
If they still have my truck can I get it back at this point? I miss my H2 and regret trading her in....
Just wanted your opinon thoughts on what I should do, you guys have ever been helpful to me....
Thanks,

So, how did it transpire? Did you have to pay bucks back? Was it just a swap back? You lost all the updates you made to the F150? or were you given some credit for improving it?

Depends on Fla. law, if the dealer did anything with your trade befroe reciving funding then that is at their expence. Did they do a contract on you with another lender? it is called a back-up contract and if so they can hold you to it. The aftermarket stuff you got is what is going to cause major problems. If the delaer did not do the mods and it was all you then your going to have to negotiate that with the dealer. The dealer is going to try and hold you to it if it was a good deal for them.

I say give 'em back the Ford, and go get yourself a used H2 for less than the basic F150.
Nothing like an H2!
IMO

True true....Ya, clean swap back. These guys were idiots. Being agressive on the phone is one thing, when I showed up, well it was quie different. Really I just got to use their truck for free for a month. Nice work if you can get it
