The Hummer H3 InfiniVu concept vehicle features a full, bidirectional, folding-fabric top system with a moving D-pillar rear header.

I like it. I wonder how they get the rear glass to go down? You would have no place to put factory jack.Any Idea of cost ?

The reason the rear window doesn't go down is that the reinforcement for the spare tire is in the door. It goes in betweem the outer pannel and inner pannel, no room for the window to go.

I wonder how much extra stiffening they did to the roof and support structure.

Folks had better keep security in mind. It wouldn't take long for someone to take a knife to the top of that thing and steal everything out of the inside. Happened to me several years ago. Some people just have no respect for others property. Where are you Ali-G when we need you?

ASC Cosmos -- The Cosmos features an InfiniVu(TM) Fabric roof system, which transforms a HUMMER H3 into an SUV ready to take on the heavens as well as Earth. Bi-directional, the between-the-roof-rails top slides either rearward toward the D-pillar or forward toward the A-pillar, or to any point in between, offering an infinite number of open-air iterations -- for those in the rear of the vehicle as well as the front. And, at the D-pillar the system features a moving horizontal header, which moves out of the way as the roof slides forward, providing the added benefit of pickup-truck-like utility.

this was in a thread earlier, and its pretty innovative, but seems a little gimmicke. I'd take the factory sunroof anyday over this.
