Anyone add HUMMER letters to the rear tailgate?
I was thinking of tracing, on blue painters tape, the front polished letters I installed in the lower bumper, then aligning another set to the tape and the tape would then hold the letters as I applied them to the rear, lower right corner of the rear tailgate.
This would guarantee correct spacing of the letters.
So, anyone do this yet?

If you are using a windows computer you can open paint from the start progams and either reduce the size to about 640 X 480 by cropping or save to a .jpg format if it is currently .bmp format.

I don't have to much other advice unless you need to know for a Mac but that is easy so I doubt it.

Mac & Cheese?

Just kidding, I was always a Mac user until NT 4.0 came out and I could save thousands building my editing systems using windows. I still love the Mac though.

Nice job H3; those letters do fit perfectly.
Are the polished or brushed, stainless or aluminum? Are those the ones being sold ebay?

Looks pretty cool for the price. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Could you PLEASE take a picture of the whole back end so I could see the contrast between the chrome "H3" and the grey "HUMMER". Thank You.

I am helping hmrlvr post these cool pics of the chrome letters.

The letters look sweet to me - I really like how they fit in the slot perfectly.

Here is another sweet picture of some hood handles.

Easy as Mac & Cheese.

I'm going to my garage now to put the stainless letters on the rear. Hope they fit. If so I'll get my kid to post pictures.

If you go to a banner shop they will sell you some vinyl tranfer paper. Just put this on the orginal lettering and remove the backing on the decal and it will be prefectly spaced. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Not sure what you are saying, since I'm not familiar with vinyl transfer paper. Reason I would trace the front letter first, is that the package of letters received are in separate little envelopes. Tracing the front onto painters tape would allow me to keep the exact same spacing as the front letters. Then adhere the new letters to the painters tape, spacing per the tracing done, remove the double sided tape, apply to rear of vehicle, press down, then remove the painters tape.

But, before I do anything, I have to get the clear protective film added to the front of my rear fenders.

These aren't in the same font as the Hummer logo, but might work well for other uses:
