Is the extended warranty worth it and if so what did you guys pay for yours. I know they rarely pay for themselves but you never know.

Check out carbuyingtips.com

There is great info there regarding buying extended warranties. 2 great companies are listed, but the site also tells you what you need to look out for.

Also a great site for purcahsing a new or used car.

If only everyone read this site before buying a car.

NO, I have nothing to do with this website. Just found it one day and got stuck reading it all for the next few days.

My dealer told me that I didn't have to decide about the extended warranty until very near the end of the basic factory warranty period. My strategy is that if the car hasn't given me any trouble during the initial warranty period, I probably don't need the extended warranty.

On the other hand ....

How do you go about getting an extended warranty?

It's worth every penny. Just make sure you put on your stock tires or the ******* adjuster will try to reject your claim regardless of the issue.

If you get one, then you will have no problems with your rig, but if you don't get one, you will regret it
