Enclosed Trailer + your H2
Featherlite 1610 14ft X 6'9" X 6'6"
What do I need to make this trailer work withe the H2?
5th tire on the H2 is staying back there, so I need to make this work?
What do I need to do the H2 for adding trailering brakes?
WIth this trailer, and aprox. 1500lbs of gear, will this be too much for the H2?
What do you all have for an enclosed trailer and how far/ often and how much weight do you tow?
Thanks,
Tim.

Tim,
You should PM Johndjmix1 on this site. He tows an enclosed trailer with his H2. IM not sure of the totatl weight of the trailer when loaded, but ive seen it with a ranger, a quad bike, and some racing bikes in it behind the H2.

I pull a 7500 lb boat with a trailer that has a self contained braking system. You dont need to do a thing but hook it to the hitch.

Re: Enclosed Trailer + your H2
Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller
http://http://www.tekonsha.com/prodig.html
I have pulled a featherlite and the distance between the hitch and the jack was pretty short, so having a spare tire was a problem. The weight you are talking about is no problem for the truck using tow/haul and third gear a lot.
The shank length is still a problem with my enclosed trailer and I don't even worry about getting into the rear through the rear hatch of the truck. I have a 7x18 (I think it's 18, might be 16) and the H2 has no trouble with it for periodic towing.

Re: Enclosed Trailer + your H2
All I did was have a welder move my jack bach about 8" and it works perfect for clearing the spare tire. This is loaded full of construction tools and equipment.Haul it around no problem.
