Re: Were 03's equiped for the factory Nav?
No, the '03's never offered factory nav. They can be retrofitted. It?s my understanding that you need the nav disc to be running to operate the system, so you can't navigate AND listen to discs simultaneously without an add-on disc changer. Perhaps someone who has actually done this retrofit will reply. I have installed XM, which runs through the factory head unit quite nicely as an additional band and is supported by all of the factory controls/displays. I hope this helps. t~

Ken
i installed the factory Nav in an 03 and added a 6 disc changer as well.
the only wire i had to run was for the VSS from the speedo to the nav unit i also added a few adapters all of which i purchased from http://www.jpcustoms.com you can see the post here
http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/s...ead.php?t=3111
i replaced the onstar with an indash dvd player which will play through the nav unit also installed a back up camera. any questions let me know i will do my best to help

The rain is getting to your head. I didn't ask the question about the radio. I asked about Tower's health.
