Default I just found the real reason for the layoffs

Its because of the arrogant attitudes of the dealers! One of them told me that I was lucky he was only charging msrp, that others were marking them up even more. That only happens when a vehicle is in high demand and short supply! I understand they have to make a profit to stay in business, and I want them to make a modest profit, but meet me somewhere in the middle.

That's probably a small part of it. It's strange that they are still like this. It's sooo 2003.

Just get it to Evergreen and I'll repair it for ya. A little duct tape, a little welding, sew some seat covers for ya, and you're good to go. I will only be 1/2 as snobby.

are you going to have my new rockers done by then

For $150, shipped, you can get a new set of stock ones off ebay to utilize the brackets.

$150 is cheap to not have to make the brackets

I really don't want to name the dealer. But I can say that same dealer also said:

"The warranty on 06s is 4yr/75k miles", (not 50k like the website said).
"The 07 H2s have a 6.6 V8, the 06 had a 6.0", (I thought only H1s had a 6.6).
"The H2 does have side air bags, see that square cap behind the seat."
"The OnStar calling out uses satellite, not cellular."

That along with some other statements I can't remember right now but seem contrary to everything I've read.

You really should state where this was said. How do we get things corrected if we don't know where it's happening?

Some of us here talk to all the HUMMER dealers on a regular absis. This info would be good to knwo, so it can be corrected as Paragon had mentioned. Inacurate information and uppity attitude needs to be addressed. If you are hesitant to list this in the open forum, please feel free to PM me and it will be kept confidential.

At least give it a day or two to make sure they don't reconsider. They were very nice, let us take a demo overnight. I hate to get them in trouble. I was ready to buy if they had only taken a little off msrp. I've also watched their web based inventory closely for nearly two months and it looks like they really would rather keep their vehicles?
