I love it when in the description they describe how the owner drives at 80 mph and can achieve 95 mph -- speeds these trucks really shouldn't be doing.

From what it says it's a clean vehicle. Doesn't sound like a ton of money, but I don't keep track.
Hmmmmm.......I wish it was a 4 door hard top.

Re: Neocon1..nice looking H1 out your way.
looks like a clean truck, the rockers look to be pristine. The owner certainly is proud to have the wrong rims/tires on it -- I think there are 4 different pictures of them. The wrong backspacing on the wheels can be an issue as it is stressing out the spindles in the geared hubs. Not a huge deal, just something that will let you down before it's time.
There were several goodies/upgrades added mid year '97 that this one doesn't have. Again, no big deal, but that's why the 97.5's and 98's are so desireable. $36k seems like a decent deal.

Re: Neocon1..nice looking H1 out your way.
it's nice not to see ucp and the clean/unscratched rockers -- it means the owner may actually be telling the truth about never being offroaded.
Full ucp will run you about $2k, maybe a bit more (including the Duck's rear ucp to replace the stock wanky t-case protection). New steel rockers will be close to $2k as well. The stock aluminum ones are ok for easy to medium trails, but will really take a beating on rocks.
