i didn't realize that the fj has part time 4wd.
one more thing to give my fj owning buddy sh*t about!
not to mention the fact that this review validates my opinion that the fj:
"More retro than macho, the FJ Cruiser lacks the intimidating presence..."
So, i guess we can now say that fj owners are considered metrosexuals, right?

this was good : It has best-in-test offroad equipment, but the Hummer is priced to compete with the likes of Jeep's Grand Cherokee. Macho costs mucho.

I can certainly agree with a few things. The yellow H3 is absolutely our favorite vehicle we've ever owned for not losing it in the parking lot. Our worst has been our white Sierra. It's Truckville USA here in Bakersfield and on any given day at Costco, there's about a hundred white friggin' pickup trucks in the lot!

The seat, well, I'm a fatarse. They're right about it being good for big butts BUT the fabric's already showing wear after one year.

They like the Toyota's paint? If you've ever seen new cars on a transport, they have shrink wrap to protect them during shipping. The toys look like they forgot to take it off of the hood. It's stupid looking.

The Toy's turning radius is a joke and a half. The H3's ability on the trail, or in a parking lot to turn around in such a short distance is one of my favorite traits of the H3, particularly after driving a long bed extra cab truck!

Toyota's bumpers are alllllll plastic. There's nowhere to stick a hi-lift.

They tout the Toy's superior performance and mileage. Oh yeah, on PREMIUM FUEL! Put premium in the H3 and have the PCU programmed and see what an advantage it has.

I hate the Toyota's clamshell doors. We had 'em on our Element, I've got 'em on our Sierra extracab. They suck.

The Toy's got no crawling gear, no 4:1 tcase, no 4.56 gears. The dawg's been neutered. Bad turning radius, tire size without lift is a joke, no crawling gears. Am I missing something? (the toy sure is)

I do like the stock inclineometer in the Toy. H3s should certainly have one. I'd also like to have the ability to start in gear and a hand throttle if I had an H3 manual.

The Nitro's cute. That's about it. It's certainly the metrosexual's choice. It's certainly thewannabe of the bunch.

If I wanted a Toyota, I'd just get a Tacoma.
