Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
They are great pics! The outside still looks good but the interior is way too much luxury / bling looking.

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
only one cigarette lighter in the front too? That blows...is that the all windows up/down button just to the left of the headlights nob?
I agree, I just can't get over the loss of the round airvents...I keep trying to like the new style, but I don't know that it'll happen. Maybe an aftermarket dealer will make dash replacements to go 'old school'?
I also couldn't get into the '08 Hummer at the NY Auto Show, they were only letting people into the Special Edition '07...the woman I talked to gave off the feeling that the nobs were glued on and the thing really wasn't production ready...go figure.

Oh, that's brilliant!! There are times when I use all of 3 in the front and one or 2 in the back.

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
I agree the new interior looks like everything else GM makes, Tahoe, Silverado. No more uniqueness on the inside. Obviously they are sharing parts among all the trucks to save $. I do like the new power train. Can't stand the silver bumpers. I bet most will have them painted the day they drive the '08 off the lot. Making me want to keep my '06. Especially if yellow is not offered.

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
Oh really. I'm pretty sure it should be extremely obvious that she lower pics are of 2008. http://www.seriouswheels.com/2008/20...-1920x1440.htm Slow down and look at ALL the pics. However I don't know why they mixed the pics of the earlier H2's with the 2008's.

Did they change anything to increase the fording depth spec from 20" to 24"? Or did they just leave it the same and change the number? I know I've been through water deeper than 24".

Re: GREAT 2008 PICS
the l9-2 head design was taken from the chevy ls7 project. GM truck division needed a head that would flow great and match the new 6.3L's power potential without sacrificing power due to a restrictive intake design.
Actually, those heads, with a combination of the L76 (i believe) manifold would give use LQ9'ers a chance to bolt-on one of the baddest heads ever produced by chevy. These heads are basically C5R heads with the 15* valve angle of our current LQ9's. These babies will out flow in stock form even the best 15* aftermarket cast ls6/lq9/ls1 head around. Imagine ported, if you dont loose port velocity and efficiency, these could be the baddest heads in v-8 pushrods.
anyways, our current motors are 364ci..the new ones are around 375ci-ish. New heads and intake flow, better tunning.. hell, i still think they are underpowered and need a ls1/ls6 type of manifold to really give them justice.
