It's SUNDAY!
Good morning/afternoon!
I am getting ready to fix a big breakfast. It has been so hot and nasty this week but yesterday was beautiful high 70's and breezy, today should be similar.
Going to the Eastern Shore after breakfast and showers. Then hanging out at home later.
What's everybody up to?

I don't know. I guess I'll eat breakfast, go to the Eastern Shore, and watch the race I'll be taping.

Re: It's SUNDAY!
I'm in San Antonio, Tx now. I have to check in to billeting before 6pm so I'm taking some time to catch up on some paper work here at this dump of a town called Sealy, Tx. Anyway, will be doing some CCATT training for the next 2 weeks, then go back to the lovely state of Florida. Damn...I already miss the twins

Re: It's SUNDAY!
Well for the second week in a row I'm running on no sleep today. I really wish I had not taken that nap yesterday. But on the bright side I get to hop on my John Deere 455 and cut my nice long grass in a little bit. Seems like I just cut it yesterday, but it was three days ago. Amazing what a few inches of rain does.

Walk the dog. Church meeting. Boat the family out to tice shoal and the hike over the dunes to the ocean beach. Life is good!

Hey... CP is going to the Eastern Shore. Ken... you're going to the Eastern Shore. Maybe you two kids should meet up?
I'm thinking of going over to the Eastern Shore today as well, keep an eye out for me.

Dang...the weather turned all nice and purty for you too, huh? We were having highs in the 80s all last month. It's the curse of CCATT - it triggers the temps to hit 100F.
My dad came to visit for the weekend from Brownwood, helped us get a lot of stuff taken care of around the house. Chopped up a 20' oak that fell from decay, put together the brat's new desk, and put in door closers. He just left a few minutes ago, so I finally have some free time to myself before the weekend ends.
4 hours till we have our first outing without the boy! Our anniversary gift this year (9 years as of Wednesday) was tix to the Rush concert in San Antonio. Yes, they're still alive. We found a great teenage neighbor who does babysitting, she seems extremely responsible so we're looking forward to it. Of course, she's a senior in high school, so if things DO work out well, we only have 1 year of a good babysitter nearby. If the brat behaves tonight....he's in his full-fledged terrible 2s now. Tantrums every 5 mins for no apparent reason.
TV has been slow this week. Missed the season opener of Meerkat Manor because we were shoveling dirt, and we'll miss Ice Road Truckers tonight. Oh well.
