Alignments are not covered under warranty.

Good thing you got the alignment, caster being off isn't good and wasn't caused by the torsion bar adjustments.

Okay, the service guy at the dealer called and said my truck is ready. In a handful of things they did, they replaced the idler arm. I asked if they did an alignment and he said "Yeah, we adjusted the toe".

When you crank the torsion bars, is it the toe that goes out? Does the toe adjustment fix whatever goes out of alignment when cranking the torsion bars? Or should they have done a full alignment?

Just got off the phone with them. They did toe only. Now they're going to try to "squeeze it in" before I show up later today.

Also, if any of you have Techline, can you look up the TSB titled "100 RPM Drop" and post the info? I need to give that to them since they didn't fix that either.

I bet Matt a box full of shiny nickels that he was a dreamer a while back. Lets see if makes with the shots.

My guess is, he may actually have an H2 but given his comprehension of the English language, the directions that came with his digital camera may present all sorts of trouble.

We'll see. . .

Matt fail English? Thats Unpossible!

u might think im stupid, and maybe iam lol, but im not sure the backspacing , my mechanic cranked the torsaion bars today but he said only a little bit cuz it would make the truck too stiff, anyway they still rub and iam almost embrassed when i pull into a store or gas station , he said if they still rub he would do some trimming and that would solve the issue , i sure hope so cuz the truck looks awesome i just gotta solve this issue than ill be happy

Still waiting!

I +5'ed my torsion bars this weekend and I didn't notice any difference in the ride. The alignment change made for a fun ride to the dealer this AM in the snow though! All over the place...

Truck sits much more level now. I like it!

Mattilda, the whole post was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

Then you got yourself all worked up and typed out some convoluted nonsense on your keyboard with those thick greasy sausages you call fingers.

Perhaps you can put the $10 I "owe" you toward the fees for your GED completion. Just a thought.

monsterMatt ,fail? Englishe? Thats' Unpossible!

Thanks guys. I told the service writer when I brought it in that if they didn't replace anything on the front end and do an alignment, I still needed one anyway.

I'll have to take a look at the paperwork when I get there. I have a bad feeling that they didn't do what I wanted....

Dude - had the same problem and it drove me nuts... Installed a 6" fabtec lift and solved the problem... Suggest you look into it - you wont be sorry.
