Default Prolong

What is everyone using on the black plastic pieces over the
bumpers?

My brother gave me a protectant called Prolong (LOL)
that works really well.
Our 2003's was almost gray due to the sun or lack of
maintenance from the old owner.

The product comes in a spray bottle and 2 applicators.
One is used for indside and one on the outside.
I must say the pieces look good as new and have a
dark rich black color to them.

Use the search feature for "faded plastic" and you'll find all you ever wanted to know.

How many times has your truck been washed since you applied the dressing...that's the real test.

This is the only stuff I've ever found to work and last!

http://www.properautocare.com/blacagextrim.html

I've been using it now for more than 10 years on my concours cars. My H2 only gets run through automatic car washes, (Too lazy to do it myself) and it's been over 3 months since the last application. I'm guessing I'll get another month or two before I need to do it again!!

You must have the factory size tires and the car washes in the Tampa
area must be a little bigger than most.
We have found out the hard way ours does not fit.

The real test will be how long it lasts, but with hand washing I'm
thinking we will be gentle with it and it might last awhile.

Prolong also comes in refills 16oz, 1 & 5 gallons, 55 gallon drums
We will have to see how well it does in winter -vs- summer too.

How wide are your tire and rims?
Our car washes are not wide enough
to take 12 1/2 inch wide.
