what the heck is friggin wrong with the H3? i mean, its got a ton of problems.
rattles
vibrating gas pedal
tire PSI warnings that should not be happening
door switch issues
etc.
i left german made vehicles for this? i love the looks and drive of the H3 but if this continues then i am gonna take a hit and drop this truck sooner than later.

Have to agree with the majority here, I really have no complaints and have had no problems. Odd noises, yes, a few rattles, yes but I am not concerned and consider them to be minor. As said above, it is a truck after all. And the best vehicle I have ever bought.

I have to agree with you f5fstop, I have had no problems after one month of having my H3. It may seem that there are "alot" of complaints to some people, but most are from the same people that are having problems. I love my H3 and couldn't be happier so far...no problems, glitches, strange noises, etc.

LOL, funny reading this... try owning a Land Rover. Just in the last 6 month I had warranty work done on the following:

New 3rd member
Transfer box completely resealed 2 times
New rusted front rotors
Replaced ABS sensors 2 times
Repaired leaking hub
...the list goes on...[/list]
I'm kind of "used to it" now. Two of my previous Lexus vehicles (RX300 and IS300) were 100% trouble free

I bought mine on Sept. 11, I have managed to rack up 800 miles in 5 days. The truck didn't have 60 miles on it before it was covered in mud. I have to agree with f5fstop. No problems, no real rattles or noises. We will see what the future brings though. It will take a lot for me not to like my truck.

I'll have to join the masses here. I have a couple thousand miles on mine and the only complaint I can can come up with, is that the e-brake pedal is in my way. No shakes, rattles or rolls.

I don't wear rose colored glasses, but I have had no problems with the vehicle.
Its fit and finish is better than any other vehicle I have owned in years, no rattles (which I have to say surprises the hell out of me, considering I live in the state with the worse roads, and it is like off-roading every morning and evening, to and from work).
I only have about 2400 miles, so rattles may come, but they will come for any vehicle in this state. No tire pressure readings, and my tires are set at the recommended 35 psi, no vibrating gas pedal, and no issues with door switches (whatever that issue is).
So far, I could not have been more happier with any vehicle.

Only problem I had with mine was a vibration in the roof when the sunroof was open. Dropped it off and the dealer had it back the same day.

No problems here either Except I sheered off a Skid plate bolt but think that was my own faught. I have put mine through more in the last month than most will do their whole time they own a H3. No rattles no vibration, nothing it is performing awesome so far.

The VW we had was terrible as far as reliability and problems. It was in the shop constantly. German?

No problems here either after 2 weeks and just over 1100 miles.
I'm very picky (my wife says anal) about my vehicles. Rattles, squeaks, air noise, etc. just drive me nuts. So far, nothing on the H3 at all. Can't say that about my last several SUV's, all had noises straight from the dealer.
I'm sure that with the firm ride will come some rattles, hopefully the cool factor of driving this thing will make it worth putting up with.
Hope all that are having problems will give the dealer a chance to make it right, that's part of what they are there for.

Sorry to hear about your H3 I'd be ****ed too!
I haven't had any problems with mine, except when I go thru the carwash with the air on high, air leaks out of the windows and makes bubbles by the side view mirrors.

We had a good downpour here yesterday, and there were several sections that had 6 or 7" of water built up. Not much at all, but in Texas, that's a lot! So, after the cars got out of the way, I decided to hit the water at 35 mph or so. Water arc'd high and didn't phase the H3 at all. It was fun! I'm sure I got the "Idiot" looks from the cars around, but I just couldn't help myself.
All the little puddles on the side that pulled every car I owned before to the right no longer happens with the H3. It's solid!
