Default Part Number help (DRL Bulb Socket)

Hey guys, I am looking for replacement sockets for my daytime running lights. I can find the plug but what I need is the socket that the bulb goes in... If you were to look at yours the socket will unplug from the DRL harness.

I have looked and looked... I called the dealer and he says Part Number #88986265... But after research I can see that is the plug and not the socket.

Thanks

I looked into the same issue, and was told by GM that you need to purchase the entire DRL which includes the socket. The socket can not be purchased by itself. If anyone else can find just the socket please let me know also.

Might check through this site http://www.clipsandfasteners.com/default.asp for the socket you need. Don't know if you'll find it but they do carry clips, fasteners and sockets that are hard to find.

Ed

Edit, Could not find the socket at the above site, sorry.

Thanks for trying man...If anyone reads this and has a set of the driving light units with the sockets they want to sell at a good price... let me know I will see if I can come up with it... Other wise if anyone knows where I can find them:

and I need this plug cause mine has a missing retainer clip that holds the light socket in tight (currently using a zip tie)

Found Pigtail here http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pi...s/gm/pigtails/ using your part number. Got sockets there too but not looking good for the one you need, a ls233 looks close but ???? :-(

Ed

Found this part number at Sewell 11517293010 but I cannot find it anywhere else to confirm the number. Item 10 on this page http://hummer.sewellparts.com/oem-ca...g-H2-2009.html good luck in finding your parts cause there was a quanity of 0 at that site.
