We just got some in, they changed the mirror caps a little bit, that's the only noticeable difference on the outside. Instead of the entire mirror cap being chrome, there's a chrome insert with the H2 logo on it, looks really nice. We just got a couple of Stealth Blues and a Black SUT. They have the 4-year/50,000 mile warranty as well.

Yet the H2 is the worst offender. Off the top of my head w/o even looking it up I can think of 17 places where the H2 says either "H2" or "Hummer", if you did some shopping at SMA.

I would have to agree with Bill on that. So do I understand this correctly, they went to the outside carrier for '05 and then dropped it for '06?

I like that they are making improvements, certainly. But If the mirror just had a piece of chrome instead of the logo, it would look high-class. As it stands, it just looks cheesy.

Hey, at least they didn't put the freakin' GM badge on the mirrors too.

I don't like them. Gonna be a PIA to get mud out of those crevices.

You're right. I think all Pewters look better with chrome all over them. It brightens up that drab grey. That's all it is, right, just grey.

Noticed, king Pewter, Phil, has added chrome. They just should all have chrome.

Thanks Bill. I agree on the SUT but I thought all SUVs came with the outside carrier now. I didn't realize you had a choice.

No prob man. As they always say around here (I just started selling Hummers), "If that's the worst mistake you make with us, you'll be doing alright."

Here's to plenty of 1 Ups for all of us.

you know what would be better?

Taking that chrome section out, and putting a HID or even LED off road lamp in there! Then you can go head on, or off to the side when you flip them in!

Don't like the mirrors. Reminds me of chrome, which I never liked on the H2 either.
