Default Spent the weekend putting new goodies on.

I got some smoked roof marker light covers along with the smoked front led turn signals and side lights. I figured as long as I have the front grill off I would install some billet grill inserts. It was time for a change in my H2's look.

I had also been thinking about hid's for a couple years. I did a lot of research and was going to get a kit made by DDM tuning. Then I read that there new stuff has problems. Not made as good as previous years. Thats when I looked more and found a great kit made by a company called Kensun. They come in a metal case and everything included seemed of great quality. I bought a 35w bi-xenon hid kit in 5000k color. I got it for $80 shipped.

This pic I have installed only the drivers side hid. These pics were taken with my iphone so they aren't the best.

Here is how I mounted everything. I used 3m tape to install the ballast, hi/low controller and voltage regulator.

All done and put back together.

Looks good... Curious what lights you have mounted on either side of your skidplate?

I had bought them on sale for $25 last year from Advance auto. Here they are at Autozone http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...ntifier=879256 If you search you can find them for a good deal. They are really good quality. I mounted them to the outside skid plate bolts. I like the look. I have them wired so when the brights are on they are off. I change my own oil so I just let them hang when I remove the skid plate.

...side question; why do you remove your skid plate to change your oil?

I had originally polished my skid plate so every time I changed my oil she would get a buff job. Now I just like to get a better view at whats going on down there with it off. Check the front diff etc.
