Two questions?

1. Did the door seals hold or did you get water inside the vehicle?

2. How are you posting such big photos, when I tried I had to do the smallest size possible with XP's resizer (for hand held screen).

Great Pics! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>I use the same program and just choose "Small". It's worked everytime. Maybe you have some super hi-res pics and that's the problem. Lower the resolution. But don't ask me how.

Yep!

Two words of advice:

Watch the ingress angle.. At the Humer Happening we were going down a tall hill into a mud pit, then immediately up another tall hill. You needed lots of speed, the H2'd did fine, but my H3 nose plowed a bit (look at the D rings). Scrated up the lower bumper.

Watch debris in wheel wells, something cracked my driver side front wheel weel.

Other then that, have a blast..you'll go everywhere the H2s do!!

H3H, you get my vote for off-road picture of the month. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do water that deep. Have you extended your transmission vent tube? Kinda eerie when you feel it start to float for a second or two, isn't it? THAT'S WHAT HUMMERS ARE MADE TO DO!!! Geez, that looks like it was fun! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

Thanks Jim

It was fun let me tell you, I was suprised how EASILY I made it through the muck, even with the not-so-agressive duelers. When does the snorkel come out for the H3 ;P

Tell me more about the transmission vent tube? What things do I need to look out for when I deep-water ford?

I have the rocker panel protection and undercarriage protection. Check out my site for reviews and information on these products.

Break in:
Get in, turn key, give'r hell ;-)

Actually it was about 2 weeks old when I took it, there were two other H3's that were about the same age.

Yeah, I was a bit ticked about the wheel well. It is a like 1/8" thick plastic, and yes stapled into place. Guess at least it won't rust!

I just picked it up from the dealer and it is fixed up (they did warranty it, so that was cool).

JK, you should be ok at Paragon. We'll keep in mind what you have and the others. We don't want anyone getting damage. I don't have the heavy duty UCP either. I haven't hurt anything.

Pick up this kit from PhilD if you want.

I got the HD Kit 3.

Even if you can't get one, don't worry about it. We have everything except spare H3 parts.

While I don't have the under-body protection yet, I highly recommend it. I didn't attempt some of the obstacles because of not having it and the rocker protection. Two musts for severe off-roading. Adventure package is a must along with the UC protection and rocker bars and then you should be good to go.
