Well, this is the third time a letter has come off. The first time was due to the poor job done at the dealer. Not sure how the second came off, but I found it while fixing my fog lamps. Yesterday, my E came off at the car wash. I suspect a drying rag caught it. I've had terrible luck at car washes - first the passenger's mirror gets ripped off and now this. I don't blame the car wash on the letters, because they aren't recessed. I used an epoxy to attach them. With the letter off, you could see the epoxy had lost it's grip. I was able to run my finger offer it and it just pealed off. Luckily, I bought a second set for just this reason. My luck it couldn't have been an M. Anyway, I went to get another backup set and can't find them on eBay.
Has anyone found good solid, think 3M auto tape online. This time, I want to be sure they don't come off. I'm going to leave a strip of masking tape in the car and just cover the letters when I get it washed. I go through a "touch-free" car wash, because it's just too damn cold here in NY to wash my car.
My HUMMER look awesome yesterday, but the missing letter bugged the hell out of me!

Hey Richk! I was actually wondering what you used to stick them, like super glue or something?
Thanks!

My local auto parts store sells double stick tape that says it can be removed later. I think most auto stores sell something similar.

I hadn't really paid attention to it, but how recessed into the grill is the imprint of the letters?

Those really look great! One of the best appearance items I've seen for the H3. Gotta get a set.

I agree Raster, but if they aren't next to each other, I don't think most would know the difference. Give it time and there will be more and more people that can.

I also goofed and got the non-self stick letters.
Has anyone installed theirs yet? If so what product did you use? I would like the ability to remove them if they complain at the end of my lease.
Thanks,

Size factor makes it easy to tell them apart! Usually at night, it does become a bit more difficult from a distance...
