E

Erik,

First of all, don't insult me by calling me a dude (look up the definition if you don't know what a dude is).

Why isn't that you can't do a simple little search on this forum to see if this subject has possibly come up before?

Besides, I was being sarcastic. The owner is a member and that was posted here probably at least 2 years ago. Go fish.

Why is it that a newb would post that video as a FIRST POST? If it looks like a troll and smells like a troll....

Please Excuse my friends... They have this tendancy to "shoot it","then stomp on it", then see if its friendly.

I do have to say if you haven't been to this board, the Trolls swim deep and wide out here.

I would be happy to answer any questions you have.
I am on dial up so the vidio won't load here,so I don't have the ability to veiw it at this point.

Why cant everyone just admit it. H2 tie rods suck. Ive seen bigger tie rods on sears garden tractors, sheesh. Does that make the H2 suck? No. It just means the tie rods do. Big deal, go with an after market set up

How can I say this ...I break stuff.
I break lots of stuff, its my Job. I have broken stuff and scoffed at engineers who said it couldn't be broken.
I don't think any breakage is the fault of the vehicle per'say. the idea that you put stress on a part or parts is all in how you use the part. I broke the steering gear in my `72 3/4 ton pic'up backing in my driveway on pavement, as I backed in I hooked a rock about 8" tall, it snapped the tooth right of the sector shaft in the gear box. was it an inherent problem? I would think not! its just the use Vs, the vehicle.
I'll bet I could break a Tourag in half if given the chance

Hey Stacy, yeah true, in all honesty, i probably would never put the truck in a rocky off road environment as it doesn't tickle my fancy like others. I do get a kick out of driving in snow and a little bit of mud, but snow is cool cause i don't have to wash the truck. I've got a 2000 Expedition by the way, so I do have a little bit of experience.

It's not like you're going to snap a tie rock going over a simple incline. Alec has admitted it was partly driver error. Every vehicle - even stangs - have weak points that will break if put under heavy stress. Half the board here has taken their trucks to Moab and the like and have never had a tie rod issue. I wouldn't let it be an issue in deciding whether or not to buy the truck.

Hey hater, man.......we've never seen that before. In fact, there is no way that the owner of that rig is a longstanding member of this board and the only reason that video is on the internet is because he posted it here first.
