First of all I must say "hats off to Nick". How you did it I will never know. The entire evening was a blast. Thanks.
I was apprehensive about going into NYC with my H2 but it turned out to be quite easy with Bonnie navigating and the NYPD directing parking. My GPS was on but once we got between the big buildings it just showed "POOR COVERAGE".
There were many cool trucks to see. The USMC H1 was killer. Kevin W had the shiniest wheels. UNA had the loudest horn. Lots of nice audio-video but my favorite was Karl's in-dash LCD TV. With all this cool stuff to see the crowd just grew bigger and bigger. By the time we left, people were packed around all of our trucks. Many people got in my front seat and had their picture taken! You gotta love NY.
Finally dinner at Tao was excellent. It was an ultra cool setting even if my wife is still confused whether she is ying or yang. Bonnie and I had sushi and then we cooked our own filet mignon strips on a river-stone over a fire.
Cheers

That's why this was an "East Coast" dinner and not a nationwide...

There were the NY streets to deal with! I saw quite a few "yellow machines" with doors that looked very similar to your left rear.

My wheel wells were cleaned...but the trip from PA to NYC didn't help keep them that way much.

Ahhhh, Westcoast disagreeing with the Eastcoast.
It would be an experience cruising and dining Time Square no doubt.
But I must agree with Alec and Drty. I guess fun depends on where you live. Hands down a happening in the wilderness(where it belongs) as opposed to in the city, would be the kind of fun you can do over and over without getting boring(always a change of scenery).
A night downtown we'll take our 03RR.
It's funny, I don't mind damage or scratches from nature , But I'm worried of damage or scratches when I'm in the city! Go figure.
