Hello All,
I'm about to go take a look at a H3 at my local Hummer dealership. What I wanted to know is what I should be paying on a H3 lease fully loaded with the employee discount on a 2 year lease. 12K miles a year. Second question is how does everyone like thier H3? I have an explorer now how much are the differences in the ride?

Thank You

Are you talking about the employee pricing discount promotion that is going on? If so, that is not available on the H3 because it is an '06 and the program is only available on the '05s. As far as lease rates go, the best I have heard of was about $425-$450 on a 24/12K lease and as I recall that was with about $1,200 total due at signing. 36 month leases are way out of line in mine opinion. Let us know what you find out.

i figure it is just the dealership trying to make some extra cash. A-HOLES

If I could find a dealer that will give it to me for the same price as wannabe got, i would go ahead and get it.

H3wannabe, I doubt it, if your not an employee or have some way to get a discount, the leases are around $550.00 per month.

Can anyone post GM money factors and residuals for H3 leases?

If GM did offer an incentive on the H3, would we be able to use a GMID in addition to the incentive to further the discount? Thanks.[/quote]

I am not sure about GMID and other incentives as I don't have access to that discount, but I do know that the Supplier Discount CAN be combined with other current discounts. That leads me to believe that the GMID most likely can be too.

Maybe one of the experts her can verify?

usetosellhummer:

Why is there so much of a difference in price. I was quoted $647 for 3 years, but they got $490 for 3 years. That is over 5K more I am having to pay for the same vehicle.

Yeah, the dealer I got mine from said the same thing, although they've been advertising a smart buy with 7.75%. He said they have to buy down the rate.

Even after negotiating up on my trade, not getting GMID cost me about $75 a month on my 2 year deal, but now all the neighborhood kids think I'm cool again. A small price to pay.

I work for GM so I get the discount through that as well. I'm not sure how much if any there is on the H3. $425-$450 sounds pretty good. I hope I can do it with zero down. I hope to get the fully loaded one at that price. I will let everyone know after I speak to them tonight. It all hinges on them buying me out of my explorer lease. I have a explorer lease 2003 with only 24K miles so far and the lease is up in January. The only problem is that I paid for 15K miles a year so i'm supposed to be at 45K by January. I wish they would pay me back 15 cents a mile like they jack everyone else.

Just got off the phone with the dealer...good news!! I got the deal I was hoping for. Here are the details:

Retail: $34,695 (lux, auto, tow)
With Supplier Discounted: $31954.64
+ $45 emissions (NH)
+ $27 title fee

36 months
12,000 miles

Residual: 64% (nice!!!)
Money factor : 8.75% (not so nice!)

I gave them $1K down. They are giving me $508 back (so I am only giving them the 1st month's payment).

Monthly payment: $492 with no security deposit and no money down other than 1st months payment.

I am very happy with this deal. Thoughts?

Looks like a good deal with no down. Are they basing the residual value on MSRP or actual price paid?

Sweet deal. As soon as I sell my wifes Jag, we are getting one.

I was hoping to stay under $525 a month, but my wife wants a fully loaded one. LUX with the adventure package.

Gotta make the wife happy

Hey 1COOLH3.

Looks like we had the exact same train of thought on this. I leased mine (actually "smart buy" but same idea) because I think the resale on the first year might drop pretty quick. The two year deals are pretty good due to .73 residual (.72 for 15k miles).

Unfortunately, my dealer wouldn't do GMID, so my payment is a bit higher than yours. I also got 20k miles per year (Texas is a big state).

The money doesn't matter, it is worth it!

Sounds like a good deal, residual back where it should be.

Only problem I can see is keeping it below 12k miles/yr, I just love driving mine too much.

Drove over to my mom's house the other day....and she lives across the street.

Enjoy!

H3wannabe:

Same thing happened at the end of July with gmbuypower site. Residuals expired on Sept 6, so it somehow defaulted back to really lousy residuals. After a few days back then, they reloaded residuals and deals were the same as before.

As long as they put back in the same residuals as before, you should be able to get the same deal as before. However, if they come back in with lower residuals, you'll be paying more. That's one reason I jumped the gun and got mine last week, I was afraid the deal would get worse.

I can't imagine them doing anything to make the deal better than it was before, even with all of the rumors about "new" incentives coming out. The H3's are just too hot and they are making too much money on them.

Good luck!

Residuals are based on MSRP, not price paid. As usetosellhummer said, if you're doing a lease and planning on turning it in, it's best not to put anything down. You'll have a higher monthly payment, but you won't be sacrificing all of that down payment.

the nice thing about leasing with GMS discount is that there is no security deposit required. Or at least there's not at any of the dealerships I've been to so far.

Figured that you worked for GM but wasn't sure since you currently drive a Ford. As I recall, the one that was $425-$450 had a sticker at around $33K. There have been several that were quoted $550 to over $600 a month on 36 month leases which I think is ridiculous. A buddy of mine leases a $60K Lux H2 for $600 a month and they want that for a H3. The $1,200 down was the usual stuff you have to pay and the beginning of a lease and wasn't a down payment per say. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
