Anyone think that a little bit of chrome is ok? I am wondering what to do to tie in the stainless running boards and chrome grill. I think maybe the hood handles, or the fuel cap, or even the door handles (just the pull handle, not the whole thing). I will not add chrome rims though...that might be too flashy for me. What do you all think? I know there are many Chrome Haters on the board...so I just wanted to get a large outlook. I have seen some that have gone overboard...and too much will ruin anything.

Thought you had me didn't 'cha. Semantics, semantics, semantics. That there would be stainless steel, not chrome.

I also think some chrome looks good on these trucks. Just try to stay away from the "stick on" stuff. My truck has rims, hood handles, hood latches and a fuel door plus the chrome that came with the Lux package.

I'm with you on that one, Sarge!! OD green was never one of my favorite colors (though I've always had a very slight fondness for cami). Now that I'm no longer in that world, I like standout colors and a respectful amount of chrome as a contrast. And as some of the pics demonstrate, it can get dirty and clean up nicely!

That bottom pic looks more suited for a woman. It can get into all kinds of places.

Whoaa....... Whoaaaaa! I saw some shiny crap with flames on it and thought of you and was just being a friend and pointing it your way. In no way let this be construed as some type of acceptance of all things shiny (unless it's on a Harley) Mine has all of the chrome on it that it will ever have. 4 door pulls and 2 emblems (and they might turn black too)
If you want to screw up the looks of your H2 with all of that.... that..... stuff, who am I to not help you make mine look better than yours.

Ok Game plan:
Chrome hood pull handles
Chrome door pull handles
Chrome Mirror backs (mine are all black)
and that ought to do it for now...I think it will bring out the stainless running boards and the grill. I think I will leave the roof rack black.
oh yea...lastly...do over my shower.

The rims are MC2's and the tires are Nitto Terra's. I got them from the overpriced dealer before I got smart, but you can get them many places. 18".
