There is only one Hummer dealer in Colorado...Medved Hummer. They have one location in Wheat Ridge (on the west side of Denver), and another in Castle Rock (between Colorado Springs and Denver).

Medved North
Medved South
AlSerra

I have dealt with all three stores. My opinion is to either go to Medved north in Weatridge or AlSerra in Colorado Springs. I have purchased quite a few vehicles over the years and I have to say that the best transaction (for me) has gone through Al Serra. But it all depends on where you live too. feel free to PM me with any questions. I can get you contacts at either store.

I didn't know about Al-Serra. It's good to have more than one to keep everybody honest.

W1N - Are you coming to Colorado from Finland?

Yes, I will be there for a week or two in September. I went to CSU few years back and did some my business studies there. I've seen like 15 states in US and I have to say CO is the best of all. I like the weather, the people and the landscape. I'm staying at my friends house near Breck.

Grew up in KC myself and one of the things I miss most since moving to FL is CO. Used to spend a week in the summer and a week in the winter out there.

September 18, 19 & 20 we'll be doing the Hummer Club's Durango Off-Road Event. You're more than welcome to join in if you're here during that time.

Here's the info: http://www.thehummerclubinc.com/even...nouncement.pdf

If you have the extra time, you may also want to continue on to MOAB.

I had a great experience w/ Al-Serra in Colorado Springs. We were headed home from a ski trip in my '03 H2 and the transfer case failed in Pueblo. We called via On Star and a flat bed was sent for us. The service manager at Al-Serra waited after hours for us to get there, then drove us personally to get our rental car provided by our warranty. The fixed the truck, got GM to apply the extended warranty to the new transfer case and had the H2 delivered to my dealer in OKC in a few days. We had a great experience dealing w/ them.

Also found out today(from the dealer) that they cannot sell you a new H1/2/3... unless you are keeping it here or registering it here for a minimum of 6 months. This has smoething to do with the exporting. sorry, i don't have more information but can give you a contact name/ number if you want. just PM me.
