2004 Nav Challenge update

I had my local installer install the following:
Pioneer CDX-P1280 12 Disc CD Changer
Pioneer GEX-P910XM XM Module
Sound Gate P10GM1V2
They installer is very experienced with XM and says everything is hooked up as per instructions and the only way they could possibly go. Everything works to some extent. I have XM reception on the CDX screen disc 10 track 50 is channel 150 disc 1 track 9 is xm channel 19? When I go to XM1 I get the CD changer. I also get no CD titles or XM info whatsoever. I do remember a thread about some bad P10’s but now I will have to have it taken out just to try another one. Any suggestions?
