chemical smell a/c dealer says..

dealer has actually replaced the evaporator in my h3 but the chemical smell continues. the dealer, per gm, told me that some h3 and h2 evaporators accidently got sprayed with a chemical and there is a whole cleaning process to fix it.
the cleaning process was done to the orginal evaporator and it did not work. Has anyone else had this problem?
