Detonate,

H2's are awesome and yes they can hang quite easily with an H1. I've have now owned both so I do have a little experience.

As far as comfort goes I don't think the H1 will ever be as comfy as the H2. The H2 is just too darn nice inside with many creature comforts like heated seats that move anywhere you want them, however, the H1 has come a long way from its Humvee roots. I have now had mine for a few weeks and this sucker is quite comfortable, not nearly as loud as I thought it was going to be and actually hung with my wife's Tahoe as I followed her home from Santa Barbara this weekend meaning the engine was powerful enough to stay at 75 without the hint of a struggle. I do have a 2003 and it is my understanding there have been significant upgrades as each model year marches on.

I absolutely love the diesel. It's smooth, has plenty of power on the road and is a monster on the trail. It just feels great when your chugging up a hill with that sucker. The interior is no match for the H2 but it's good enough for government work and I kind of like the cockpit feel.

The determining factor for me was the tax break. I did not get the 100% write-off with my H2 but I will with this one, which kind of fell in my lap or maybe I would not have done it.

H1, H2 doesn't matter just keep it a Hummer.
