Definitely a Sirius issue. It should sound as good as your cd does. Keep in mind though that on some sports and talk streams Sirius uses compression and it can sound "digital" or processed (like putting your dolby receiver in hall or stadium mode). The problem is that there is no middle ground as far as sat reception goes--you are either receiving it all the way or none at all so troubleshooting a sound quality issue can be difficult. Have them try another sirius receiver and see what that does. I would not recommend messing whith crossovers and amps yet as you say the cd sounds great so leave the amp alone for the time being.
