Hi Jay, both bulbs I was referring to were red...

I bought the exact same smoked lenses as you didfrom the same person on Ebay. Sorry, what I meant by the "stock" red LED bulbs were the red ones (and amber) that come with our smoked lens kit. As you know, but some here might not, is the real stock factory bulbs are all white, and the red and amber factory lens covers make them look colored. Also when you use the red ones which come with this smoked kit will make the red bulbs look pinkish...

So I put the red Pilot Gel Cap covers over the red bulbs that came with our smoked kit. I also put the same gel caps over the PeP Boys "Super Bright Premium colored 194 red bulb" ($4.99 for 2). I like the brightness of the Pep Boys bulbs better than the
other reds, they are a bit brighter and match the red brake lights better IMO...
