TMKHUM is off the scale

Don't know if this has happened to anyone, but after a heavy rainstorm, I started leaking water inside by the driver's side visor anchor (closet to center console).

I had to pull the <cheap> plastic anchor off in order to drain the water.

The water was getting in by the marker light which is directly above the plastic anchor. The seal used between the marker light and body was dried out and and not sealing off against the roof.

At any rate, I suggest everyone check these seals outs, and run a bead of black RTV around them, as the current seal does not look like it will hold up long term.

Now, on the help side, I need a diagram or instructions on how to reinstall the plastic visor anchor. I have put it back, but it is a real loose fit now...so I don't know if this is a one time use plastic piece, or I don't have it installed correctly.

...I checked the archives, and patriot posted a picture on this anchor removal/install but the picture comes up as a red X.

Thanks.
