When you get a crappy loaner it is always good practice to press the brake and the gas at the same time. If it does not make sufficient rubber peeling noise you can always give it a shot while turning--this will certainly increase the probablity of substantial tire noise
Last loaner i got was a big caddy--not exactly a Hummer, but the northstar peeled out like a dream!
