David South on behalf of Jonothan Dean emailed Me just a little while ago to anounce that STS now has a kit available for My H2 since I had shown interest in the past. He said they are taking $500 deposits and kits should start shipping in early May.
Price for total kit with no addons.
<span class="ev_code_RED">$5195.00</span>
I do plan on politely turning Him down and would imagine they could care less as they will sell many i think, not sure at that price. I will let Him know I have a Magneson supercharger on the way to the painter.

For those who may be interested I have put a few guys together to R@D several up to now overlooked vehicle turbo's as well as working on a twin for the H2.

I'm going to remind STS of the effort where I tried to get there help. But, have no problem recommending STS to others. They do good work. I will ask why STS did not want to help the dealer that they recommended to Me along time ago as following was sent to Me. "The reason I would like for You to see (-----) in ? is he is a very compitent installer and is all ways like You looking for the "One Offs" to do. You will not be happier with His work or customer support. I hope ? is not too far for You to take the H2. The Power Dealer We recommend You get in touch with at this time for your area and vehicle is:" Dealer asked Me at this time not to mention Him yet till He sees what He is going to be allowed to do with H2 kit.
This email was the first thing I received when I began this adventure.

I have to give STS credit this man and His shop is top notch. He will use the tuning with kit but, He will tell You it needs to be wideband tuned by a guy near Him who has a AWD dyno and I agree unless Nelson has made changes We saw needed and I'll bet Nelson took care of that, they are the best. The upgraded tuning is offered by STS but, at extra cost as is the upgraded inj. unless they use what they told Jonahs He may need. There are many reasons they offer addons and everyone should be used if You want everything that the system has to put out. But, at that price if it needs upgrades My original quote a good while ago of $7000 would have been a bargain. It is not neccessary if You are wanting to just wake Your rig up and improve towing.

I feel they have done a great job for Jonahs in making the system do what He needs and that is using the base kit the way it was designed. Jonahs is going to be happy and I think surprised at how well it runs.

I had long discussion with a multiple SEMA award winner today that is using My H2 for some prototyping on a new idea He has. We discussed My SC versus turbo in general. He said at My vehicle weight the turbo is not going to get it rolling unless You go with a very small turbo to get spooled up quicker and the torque early (which I knew that is what we are working on to see if it is feasable at all). It would need to be twins to reduce back pressure by splitting it between them (which We knew), if to small and if pressure not released back pressure will jump up to a point it could push piston out the bottom. This We also knew. He just confirmed for Me that for what I personally want to accomplish the SC is the way to go right now untill I can figure out how to spool turbo up early enough safely. Perhaps sequential may be the answer?

In the Colorado and H3 it will be for a stock app. and a turbo that will handle exhaust flow with no problem and at there weight will move it quickly from a stop.

I would not be surprised if the dealer I was recommended to takes His vast knowledge and be able to have a kit that will be less. I have told him to do what He wants as i have a patent attorney working on what We have done and will have patent pending very soon. He can do what ever he wants because of His kindness and unselfish help. He is not sure now since He is a dealer and STS now has a kit if He will be allowed to alter it and do it for less. That is why I mentioned to everyone please work with Jonahs for a group discount someway as i and the guy i had been working with had already gotten an idea of what they were going to ask for kit, it actually exceeded our estimate. He was going to just custom make mine bending His own pipe etc. and We were looking at price for others around $4000 installed.

I now have all info, R@D and test info in Arkansas and found a 23 year old that knows more about tuning and turbo's than anyone I have talked to in the past year. In the neck of the woods he is from they nicknamed Him the Savant because He barely made it out of high school but, is a mechanical and mathematical genius. I had My first conversation with Him and had just started telling Him what I wanted and He picked up paper and pencil and did a rough sketch for the Colorado which He had looked at briefly, H3 and the twin turbo for H2 after looking at H2 and i had not shown Him what I already had and He drew it out. I asked Him if He had an idea of the turbo's needed in each app. and He wrote down what He felt was needed and he matched the twins (custom designed not off the shelf) and had the other two picked out and We had no idea at the time what was needed. He was correct on the Colorado so i guess he will be right on the H3. i asked Him how did he know how the H3 would look like he said I have seen the Colorado how much different can it get. Dealer is going to let us have an H3 for a week to get measurements when We get to it (Colorado first) and can come to dealer all We want. I hope We can make it work for the H3. The Colorado is coming along well. For Me it has worked out better that STS did nothing for the nice dealer they have and Me as it was a catalist to move Me into the induction world and find people that can do what I think of.
I encourage everyone to please get with Jonahs and get a discount setup. The price they are asking You can get a satin Magneson from Jason at H2source that comes with all inj upgrades, tuning upgrades, and just basicly everything to make it do all it is capable of putting out, almost. There will be a tuning option for the Radix that will be out shortly that will squeeze that last little bit of richness that the superchips leaves, roughly 40 HP and torque more. It is not bad that way as it helps to prevent a lean situation. If you add all the gauges as You should like Jonahs has designed You would not have anything to worry about. The new tunning available for Radix will improve torque management much better than present tuning and improve HP and TQ a little more. When I get the OK I can also put You onto this info as far as where to get it. They are in negotiation to offer it to Magneson when contract is up with superchips I guess. I'm told the new tuning is almost just as good as wideband without having to get into spending $3000 for the software if you want to be able to write and tweek it alot. The guy doing it has many SEMA awards and is an Arkansas boy near where I live.

The guy I visited with today that provided all the perf. add ons for My H2 except the catback headers. Told Me they did a 05 H2 test recently on a dyno with cold air intake, tbody vortex spacer, programmer from Comp Cams set to perf., premium fuel and stock exhaust. Upgraded spark plug wires, I have taylors. Oh, a dual electric fan I think also. He said they got 330 HP at the ground. I told Him I had gotten 355 with GTech Pro which He said was do to the header catback system and He was not surprised. He said the 05's have had alot of tuning improvements from factory and they went to the 5 gear planetary system in the tranny, if I understood Him correctly, which helped. He recommended what I have seen many on the forum doing is to get the latest updates on programing it helps. So I'm doing that next week. Anyway the cost for what he had was around $1500. The catback with dual super 40's out the back complete was $1650 installed. Anyway thought that was just some interesting info that some would like to hear about. Roughly 355 Hp at the ground spending $3150.00 and it sounds great. Where it still lacks is more low end torque. You can have all the HP but, without good torque numbers it still makes for slow times on 0 to 60 9 sec. or 1/4 mile. Nitrous is usually used at 3000 RPM but know of some that are experimenting with it at roll out to see if it will improve times and cut it off at 3000 RPM when the other perf. stuff kicks in good. Opposite of normal but, on the edge and that is usually where You find something new and exciting.
Well hope some of the info is helpful.
