Question Question for PhilD

OK Phil heres my situation. I have the same brand of rims as you do and I am getting rather sick of the shiny stuff and last winter was pretty rough on them. And well I see that you rattle canned yours and had some questions about the process, materials, etc.

Did you just unmount teh wheels and tires then clean, degrease, and scuff them up to get them ready for paint?
You used rustoleum paint and primer correct? Is this automotive paint or just general metal paint?
Did you paint the front and back of the rim or just the front?
About how long did the whole process take?
About how many cans of paint/primer did it take?
How's the paint holding up thus far?
Lastly, do you have a close up of the paint so I can check out the hammered finish you mentioned?

Thanks in advance, your time and responses are greatly appreciated because I would love to get this project underway.
