Thumbs up Check out my shiney clean H3...

Bought a new product from Turtle Wax called "ice". It was recommended on another board and I thought I'd give it a go. It is a synthetic polish, not a wax and says it doesn't leave any residue on rubber or plastic (reason enough to try it on any Hummer). Anyway, I am extremely pleased with the out come. I used Mothers "Back to Black" on the plastic trim and tried the Ice on the plastic hood piece. They look the same. I also bought a bottle of the Ice quick shine for use in between applications of the polish. I also Rain-X'ed the glass to keep the dead bugs from sticking so bad. I'm not one for bugshields, but I already have 2 rock chips and the bugs tend to aim for the flat front glass! I'd also like to see a rear deflector to keep the dust off the rear glass. Anyway, thought I'd share with the class...

Here is the products I used...

This engine bay has almost 12,000 miles on it and has been off-road a couple of times...

I took a gray paint marker from my son and highlighted all of the symbols under the hood...

Check out the reflection! You can see our trampoline, horse trailer, and an old Grand Wagoneer in it. Also, the plastic mirror mount...

Not a bad product, I'll report back after a month! Notice the painted skid ala this forum...
