Making the brackets would simple, and a better approach. I was lazy and didn't want to make another trip the metal yard.

I'd simply buy 4 feet of 2.5" x 7", 1/4 inch rect tubing which would only cost about $35. Then, cut out like this and get the 10 brackets.

Cut center out of the bracket rear on the driver's side for the brake line. That's about it. It would upgrade the bracket for the stock 3/16" to 1/4". Beefier. Plus, not grinding of the powdercoating for welding.
